We are an assembler and manufacturer of products for the further processing of coated abrasives, single-/double-sided adhesive tape and one- or two-component adhesives. We are also a holder of patents in the construction industry. The company was founded by Walter Büttig in the area of ADREMA systems in 1957 and had its own in-house production of dies for the purposes of address management in the western German cities of Koblenz, Saarbrücken and Siegen. Following the death of Walter Büttig in 1967, his son, Hans-Peter Büttig, then took over leadership of the company. While the company was then solely referred to as "Walter Büttig", the ADREMA system was technologically outpaced by computers and Hans-Peter Büttig, who had previously been working with 3M abrasives in the city of Neuss, therefore started to restructure the company. This resulted in the formation of the company's three business areas – sanding, bonding and sealing. We have been distributing and developing our products under the brand name "WB", which has existed since 1983 (DE39506049, DE1119129 and EP84525).
