About Us

ARBACOMMERCE d.o.o. Zadar is family owned company founded 1994. Our main line of business is processing and selling small pelagics. Main species are Anchovy and Sardine, as well as Spanish Mackerel, Sprat, Horse Mackerel etc.
Our Anchovy belong family Engraulis Encrasicolus, Sardine is from family Sardina Pilchardus. In 2007 ARBACOMMERCE d.o.o. finished building the modern plant. The plant is conveniently located in eastern part of peninsula Istria, 5 km from Plomin, the largest fishing port in Northern part of Croatian Adriatic.
ARBACOMMERCE d.o.o. employs 60 people and produces its goods according HACCP and ISO 22000: 2005. Plant is approved with EU export number. ARBACOMMERCE d.o.o. buy 2.000 to 3.000 tons of fish per year. We buy directly from fishing vessels type PURSE SEINERS (lampara), which are equiped with modern technology for catching, treating and storing fish, from main ports in Croatian Adriatic; Rijeka, Pula, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik.
