Our strands and ropes for medical technology undergo stringent manufacturing and cleaning processes in accordance with medical standards. On principle, we only deliver to the medical technology sector non-twisting and low-strain strands and ropes with cleaned, high-gloss and smooth surface finishes. The majority of our products in this sector are supplied with extruded isolation made of biocompatible materials and, if necessary, (e.g. for heart electrodes) taking into consideration dielectric characteristics. To this end, we have a remarkably clean production area and special systems. Integrated measuring and testing equipment guarantee high quality standards and control the process. As standard, we offer wire products made of materials 1.4401, 1.4404 and 1.4441. Furthermore all other materials that are strandable and permitted for this application are available in coated and non-coated versions.
