Founded in 1889 under the name Remscheider Walz- und Hammerwerk Böllinghaus & Co. KG, Böllinghaus Steel is a specialist in long stainless steel products, now managed by the fifth generation of the family. The company produces high-quality standard and special profiles to international standards. The portfolio includes rustproof flat, square and hexagonal profiles – hot-rolled and cold-drawn. With a history stretching back more than 130 years, the company is now globally operational with branches in Germany, Portugal, the USA and Italy, and employs over 250 people. Since 1996, Böllinghaus Steel has been manufacturing its goods from its production site in Portugal, equipped with two hot-rolling machines capable of processing 22, 000 tonnes a year and two cold-drawing lines capable of processing 10, 000 tonnes a year. This gives us the flexibility and solution-oriented systems necessary to be able to fulfil customer's specific requirements on schedule.
