About Us

Metals Chemicals Maastricht BV (MCM) was established in 1994 and has developed into one of the leading residue traders in Europe. We are specialized in secondary raw materials containing zinc and lead. Each year, approximately 80, 000 tons of residues containing mainly zinc are traded and/or treated by Metals Chemicals Maastricht BV and of which half of its volume reaches our plants in Maastricht.

In the portfolio of Metals Chemicals Maastricht BV we purchase various residues also containing Lead. Yearly we’re trading approximately 25.000Mt of lead residues directly from supplier to our end users. MCM has a special division for notifications of transporting hazardous materials.

The zinc/lead residues, to be supplied to the end-users, are selected and compiled on the basis of the required chemical specifications and physically treated by us (crushing and/or sieving).
In order to succeed in all our client expectations, we have made an investment to repack all material to our clients wishes.

We can take material in bulk, in big bags, in carton boxes and in drums. All packaging is inspected upon arrival in the yards of Maastricht and if required repacked into UN big bags.

Metals Chemicals Maastricht has the disposal of a professionally equipped chemical laboratory with experienced analysts who guarantee a highly accurate analysis. Equipment is regularly checked and tested and the methods to be applied are up-to-date. Therefore, the results are and continue to be reliable.
